Excellent advice and many of the principles are surprisingly relevant nearly 120 years later. Highly recommended this author!
Although many of the ideas expressed in the book are thankfully outmoded, the content gives a glimpse into another time, another way of life. I am a fan of her son Albert Payson Terhune's books, and this gives me more of an idea of the times in which he grew up.
